beyond! Sunshine Smart School will provide a personalized, engaged, supported, and challenging
environment that will strengthen the WHOLE CHILD!
PERSONALIZED learning isn’t just a phrase but a way of ReThinking education. Each child will engage with
school staff and home support to design their PERSONALIZED LEARNING PLAN to capture academic and
social-emotional goals. Yes, “PERSONALIZED” because we are prepared to provide your child a world class
learning experience regardless of where they are given these uncertain times. Each student will engage
in HANDS-ON learning and digital personalized learning on their one-to-one device (Desk Top, laptop,
Smart Board etc,..) supplied by the school. We will support each student to be SELF-DIRECTED and lead
their own learning plans to mastery and creativity.
ENGAGED environments are driven by capturing each student’s senses and their passions (hearts). The
classroom environment of Sunshine Smart School is set up to support a Free to Succeed mindset. The rooms
are open (freeing) with modern furnishing to support multiple learning styles of Sunshine Smart School

SUPPORTED children grow in confidence and creativity. The music, art, and science electives at Sunshine
Smart School will support students in their pursuit of applying what they are learning. The Attitude is
Altitude curriculum will develop each student’s growth in social emotional learning – that emotional
intelligence (EQ) that is so vital in a 21st Century environment of working, designing, and creating
solutions for the next generation.
