WHAT WE DO

Sunshine Smart School educates students from kindergarten to 8th grade and plans to add 9th grade in 2025.

The school's educational philosophy emphasizes improved teacher efficacy, meaningful collaboration among all stakeholders, and a learning community that addresses students' social-emotional and academic needs. The core values that drive day-to-day practices will be taught, celebrated, and modeled by all stakeholders. The leadership team and staff are dedicated to ensuring that students receive the necessary support and learning experience to achieve the Tennessee Academic Standards (TAS) in every grade. The academic plan of Sunshine Smart School is crafted to bolster these initiatives and aid in fulfilling the institution's mission. ​​​​​​
